'76 parts car, rusted into the ground, nothing good left. Motor turns by hand (looking for a core) and the guy wants $500 for it. He's an LBC/car guy. Sometimes I don't know what these folks think. Each car I look at is a worse deal than the last. Make previous cars look like cream puffs. I should have bought all of them, but they really didn't have anything else I needed. Makes the $300 rusted but complete RB car a passed on look GOOOOOOD !!!

One man's treasure is another man's junk?!

I see this all the time, and I once made a post about it here. There are so many of these, often listed on Craigslist, where the seller seems terminally clueless. For example, there is a Triumph Herald on the LA list that is actually quite nice, but nowhere near the $13K asking price. And this is down from $18K. It's been listed literally for years--you'd think the owner would figure out that it's wildly overpriced. Meanwhile, there are a couple rusted out spridgets priced at over $1K, one is down from $2500.
