Last day over, toolbox moved (the CJlopy and my poor old trailer held up), gotta get my work pants all washed and ready for monday until I get my new uniforms.
This afternoon its time to haul the clan to the county fair and mingle with all the rednecks who aren't up at the Glen for the Nascar weekend.
My brother called and asked if I wanted to go with him as he has weekend passes to the race, but I just can't. The nascar weekend is total insanity at the Glen. It was tough to pass up watching the Rolex cars today though.

Monday is a new start Ben.So new uniforms are definitely on the cards.I hope your washed pants don't look too out of place when you get to work. :jester:

I'm sure you had fun at the fair, but missing the Rolex cars isn't so bad when you can see it on Speed.

Stuart.

Good Luck Ben.

After 5pm Monday, it will be like you never left.

Ben,

Take care - it will all work out.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
Man,am I giving advice? That's kind
of scary.

Good luck today, Ben.

So, Ben, how was that 1st day?

Decent day. everybody seemed happy to have me back, plenty of work to do, and I'm quickly coming back up to speed on the details of how things are done. Now just get back on track with my Toyota classes and testing, and I should be golden.
and it sure was nice to be home by 5:15!
Well I'm off to research smoke machines and some other diag equipment I'd really like to have.
chat later.

Rumor has it, the Mrs had quite a nice
dinner waiting for you when got home
from your first day on your new (old) job.

If ya get home 1/2 hour earlier does that
mean ya get to leave home 1/2 hour later
in the morning?

Best wishes Banjo,

Dale & Wendy

Howdy Ben,

I was just scrolling thru some of the posts & figured while I was here I`d ask the question:

I now live in the Up-State, SC area (LBC Heaven) & could`nt be more happier (Yes I could if my B/E were here). Delv. scheduled for this Mon. 17th.

Whats the latest on your TR2? Is she sold? If not; What has been your best offer? You can either PM me or better yet, Email me at my address: toysrrus@att.net.

Thanx, Russ

PS: Best Wishes on the "New/Old" job.

Thanks for the thoughts Russ. Glad to hear you're setteling in fine. I'll send ya an email, but the TR2 update is about the same as it's been. Still for sale, no definate takers yet. I'm willing to bide my time. I'm not in a pinch for cash enough to be concerned about how soon it sells. I know I'll not have enough in the near future to complete the project, so It needs a new home. $5500 still the official amount, but money talks dosen't it? 'Bout time for another round on craigslist, this time with some good pics. If not I should be able to find some intrest at the Watkins Glen vintage fest next month. I had an offer to buy last year, but I diden't want to sell then.

Ben,

I thought that you'd posted that the TR was sold.
Hope it goes to a good home.
Sorry I haven't called since our visit. You see,
it's the 3 hour time differance,& .....................
- are you buying this?

- Doug

hehehehe... that's fine Doug. I haven't even been on Facebook in over a week. There's been so much to do lately, I've just not had much time to "connect". I've got Youth group meetings to get planned (start in Sept.) band practice, a 20 minute talk to get written for a retreat weekend (plus several teamings before that weekend),trying to sell the TR2, settling in to the new/old job, summer youth activities, vintage race is coming up soon, wife and I might be leading (or at very least participating in) a small group this fall through our church AGGGG! summer is almost gone! NOOOOOO! I need more time!!!

Ben,

I fully understand.Of course you realize that I don't
do all that there high-tech stuff (I'm still going to get
around to installing that Craig 8-Track Powerplay).
