Well Now!

Saw that myself.

While I like General Lee Chargers - for that money someone could pick up an old basket case junker & build one from the ground up for a fraction of that.

Oh well, a fool & his money!

Maybe if he would stop talking about himself for a couple paragraphs, we could learn something about the car!

"It would take a very long time to tell you everything about this car, so lets just stick to the relevant details"

At which point he hadn't actually said anything about the car. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

Basket case my foot. You could have one hand built with brand new sheetmetal for the 7 figures he wants. (HIGH 7 figures at that!) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Let's see--how many "General Lee's" were built for that TV show? 100? 200? Even if 75% were wrecked in filming, that still leaves a bunch of $10 million cars lying around in someone's garage. No thanks!

The car appeared in a minor role in the 'DOH' series. John Schneider had a 528 Hemi installed plus Viper suspension components and such in recent years. It did have a part in the 'Dukes' movie.

My son saw the car when Schneider and Tom Wopat were doing a concert a few years ago at an Indian casino in the UP of Michigan. He said that after the show, Schneider and Wopat used the car to run up town for some vittles and then came back to the casino and drank beer and signed autographs for just about anybody who wanted 'em.

A lot of money...you bet. But it's not illegal to spend money...at least not yet!

Ahhh I woulden't buy one of those fakes from that guy... The doors open! hehehehehehehe
(I bet Snyders car has opening doors too)
