I'm having such a hard time not making a comment about the only two options open to Americans in the current election, but I won't....... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF

As a fellow "furriner" I also watch with an air of detached air of amusement......except that whatever the outcome of the election it will affect me directly. Choose wisely, pleeeeaaaaaase! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

Disclaimer...

I didn't start the political discussion, just simply posted a picture /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif OK... a picture that could be interpreted as political by certain twisted minds... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree - But darn, If the world were run by British car owners there would be NO WAR - all the leaders would be too busy repairing their Lucas Electrics to get involved in a war!

Just a side note - I lived in a small town near Niagara Falls for a lot of my life - And I spent a lot of time in Canada, Mostly Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls Ontario and a place which is now sadly closed - Crystal Beach - I still can hear the Radio ads - "It's a long swim....but a short drive...come to Crystal Beach" I bet I rode "The Comet" 200 times and ate my weight in super crisp sugar waffles -

Sorry for pining over my lost youth, but you guys have such a beautiful, clean country I can't help but think back on those good times ( Not to mention a lot of REAL Molson's beer and Ale.

If there's enough interest you could talk me into telling you the tale of the Looney Tune who Rode across the Ice on Lake Ontario to buy Molsons for the Icefisherman at Olcott, NY.....
