I haven't been listening to music too much lately but the thread about recordings got me in the mood yesterday. So while I was making dinner I popped three John Denver discs that I hadn't listened to in a long time into the carousel player and hit shuffle play.
About the time I was done prepping and started the pot simmering I got a phone call so I paused the disc player to answer it. By the time I had hung up I was done with the food for a while so before hitting play again I turned on the TV to check what was going to be on later.
As I'm standing there looking at the cable listings, with JD paused in the disc player, I see that at that moment a local PBS station is showing a John Denver biography.
