yep - life is tough and unfair sometimes ...

My weekend fun:

Saturday, turned, manured, and harrowed about half the garden (about 1/3 acre).

Sunday, poked in pea brush, planted peas at the base, then prepared beds and planted onion, parsnip, radish and cabbage. Prepared and planted seed veg bed with root veg from last year.

Pruned four beds of raspberry cane; top dressed raspberry, red currant and herb line.

Still to go: winter squash, beans, summer squash, carrots and beets.

Onward through the fog!

Wow, that's some garden you've got there - makes my 5 tomato plants seem kinda puny!

Tell me about that...I have 2 old Jack Daniel barrels that I've already 'made' a few gallons of Jack from....how do you handle gathering & dispensing rain water for plants?

My garden has artificial lights and rain, and everything wrapped or has little numbers on it.

You have a nice looking garden.

My modest garden:

We also have some other herbs in smaller pots.
The tomatoes are Sweet 100, Beefsteak, and Park Whoppers.
The watermelons are Sugar Baby's.
Next to plant are Iceberg lettuce and Sweet bell peppers.

Stayed at waterpark area until 10pm closing. Left Saturday morning, 7am, drove 4+ hours to brother-in-law's to drop off car. Dropped off Mini, picked up Chevy Venture previous brought up for repairs. Had lunch, went garage sale-ing. Left his house at 7pm, drove back to hotel, arrived 11:30 or so. Woke up, went back to waterpark area until Noon, loaded up cars, drove 3 hours home. Was grateful to go to work on Monday, I needed the sleep!! LOL
