Weekend Progress

The track Midget is in pieces and starting to go back together. I stripped and painted the engine bay, got the hydraulics back in, relocated the sway bar to the top of the front rails (temp. bar installed) reinstalled the front suspension, wired the new electrical panel in the dash (still need to wire the engine bay), welded up the bumper holes in the front valance, painted it, and made a grill for the oil cooler opening. Also stripped down two spare wings that will replace the ones that were on the car that had some track rash. The car needs to be done for mid April which is looking good at this point.

Starting to look like a real car again, Chris. Must feel good to be making some progress!

Busy busy weekend with lots of things done. Good on ya.

That looks great, nice progress.

Looking good!! I wonder just how many people across the U.S. worked on their cars this weekend due to the nicer weather??? I was able to pull mine outside and work in the actual sunlight. That was nice for a change!

Good, good, good.

My Escort Twin-Cam project is slipping right now, so I'll probably bring the Spridget to Shenandoah. I think Pete'll bring his Sprite too and Bruce will will bring his Mini, plus maybe "Big Mike" (yellow Sprite).

We can have a Brit-car Fest!
