Wuz up this weekend?

Small craft warning ends Saturday morning so I called some
pals and we're gonna drag lures for snook or mahi mahi.
Saturday night-- payback dinner with wife, Sunday a few hours
working in the Crypt and then afternoon children's charity
fundraiser.

Sun. cut the parts out and sand,
Mon. Assemble the chairs and cut the darn grass.

Weekend shot

Saturday is older daughter's birthday (33). We'll take her and her hubby out for a festive evening of eating and beverages.

Sunday, our minister is retiring, so we'll do more of the same....but the beverages will be different. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/angel.gif

Yard work, a friends wedding reception, maybe a bit of motorcycling and LBC engine teardown.

Nothing but MG work! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif (and there's a lot of it) so by default, I'll be hanging in BCF.
The Midget tomorrow and the BGT on Sunday! ~at last~
Some ebaying too in the eves methinks.

The last tenant is to move in tomorrow and weather permitting move the '71 midge from the Poconos to Stamford.

Pat

Ordered a new Monza exhaust last week, it was supposed to be here yesterday, never came.

Sent the 280ZX to be painted, was supposed to be ready Friday...its not.

Went by the garden to check on things...lots of grass and the beans need weeding....guess my decision was made for me.

I also have a "New" radio for the Midget...ooh tunes next week going to work! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Working on a pair of Smith's speedometers....

We're having our Agatha/Onslow May Daze celebration today starting at 11:00. Usual party fare. Just an excuse for some of us car nuts to get together. Weather is tourist day for the Land of Enchantment and everything is under control.

Sunday, I think we'll park out on Route @66 and wait for the 65 Jaguars from Holland to pass through our small town. And we'll be sitting in our Jag, Onslow and maybe even in Agatha, our Healey.

Hope you all have a fine weekend no matter what you're doing.

Happy Motoring.

Concluded a nice day on a beautiful ocean.

Tres Gatos performed beyond expectations a few
miles offshore in heavy swells. Sucess in the fishing
department as well. Mostly catch & release of my boat
as this champion fighter Snook can attest. I hope some
other anglers enjoy the fight this fine fellow puts up.
No blood, nothing injured and he swam off at blazing speed.
He aerial jumps during battle were awesome to behold.

A coupla photos:

Tinster:
Nice fish!
Here in the Lake District of northwest New Jersey (where we have a Summer house), we're more used to catching Rock Bass, Bluegill, Crappies and an occasional Carp. Our saltwater fish at the Jersey Shore is more like Blues, Sea Bass and some Tuna.

Basil:
Great pictures and looks like a nice, laid-back group. I prefer those types of driving outings over static shows....looked like fun (did you take the "Big D"?)

Been laid up with my back. Still a little sore but I need to get some work done around here. Mustered the strength to ship parts I'd promised everyone, yesterday. Today has to be a house day.
Nice fish.

[Gollum] Pretty fishie!![/Gollum]

Yester AM saw me on a plumbing mission: Bro's bathtub diverter valve 'n mixer assembly R&R. Made it thru with only minor frustration and played out on a friend's boat for the rest of the day... got hung up a bit on a sandbar, still home before dusk. Cookout and gorged later.
