Weber versus twin SU's

I have heard some mixed reports about changing the carb and intake on my Mini to a Weber 40 DCOE or going for a twin HS4 setup - with an upgrade to the cylinder head in both cases. Most seem to favour the twin HS4 setup over the Weber. It is a 998, currently running a single HS2.

Practicality says SU's. The Weber will need jetting down, vibration damping, bracing to keep the manifold from cracking in two... but it does make some lovely noises.
