hey, i just purchased a weber downdraught and manifold kit, i liek the idea of having a normal carb on the b, i know this carb came on some 2.8 chevys, is this a good carb for normal driving?

yeah, though, it may not be the best for 'spirited' driving... unless it's the 38/38 outlaw. Lot's of people use it, but some seem to have some trouble getting it 'perfect', even though most have no trouble out of the box.

well, yeah, it ought to be, but the throttle response will be quite a bit different, i reckon. Since you don't have to worry about emissions laws in FL. I say go for it. Those carbs are usually set it and forget it devices. It's probably one of the better carbs to go with for a daily driver that doesn't need to meet emissions requirements.
