Hey guys i put a used weber 32/36 dgv and new exhaust. Now the question is at wide open throttle at about 4k it starts to cut out. Now you can back off just a tad and it will pick back up. But always at wide open and higher revs it starts to cut out . Any clues
J
Other than that it runs terrific

This is *usually* a high speed lean-out condition. You need to use a slightly larger main (high-speed) jet.

If a bigger jet is not readily available, you could (very carefully) re-drill the main jet with the next-larger size wire (number size) drill.

Be sure you have good spark first.....high RPMs can extinguish a spark if spark isn't strong enough. Be sure float level is high enough and fuel pressure is good (check fuel filter too).

There are entire books on Weber carb adjustment....these carbs offer lots of adjustability, so they can be "way off" in many of areas, before they are properly "dialed-in".

G'luck.

I have a 150 main and a 135 secondary so I figured I was ok as far as jets were concerned. It has a new fuel pump and filter. Hmmm I'll just have to tinker with it.

thanks,
J
