The weber carb(downdraft) on the 1980 MGB LE has been leaking from where the accelerator plunger arm goes into the carb body.....after removing the carb we've found that the gasket around the plunger diaphram has split. My quesion is where can I get a replacement????

Thanks
Zack

I would call Moss, Victoria British, Brit-tek, etc. The base gasket will be $3 to $4US(I think this is what you are looking for) and a rebuild kit will be $35 to $40US (ballpark figures and shipping not included) From Brit-Tek. Do not have their April sale catalog. Hope this helps!!! Assuming it is the DGV Weber. As you can tell I am by far not a Weber Carb mechanic. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

May want to visit a website and get an e-mail address since you are on the other side of the border. Not sure if their 800#s include Canada.

Thanks guys....ordered the part from pegasus auto racing this morning! Should have it in about a week!
