Weber 40 DCOE 18 throttle problems on 73 Midget

Well great, got a call yesterday from webercarbsdirect.com they do not have nor can they get the DCOE Accell Pump Jets [Jet Size:50].

Can some one who has a 1275cc and a DCOE carb, pull one of their accell pump jets and tell me what the size is. I have 40's on mine currently. And everyone else seems to be running 45's or 50's.

This would explain why I am sitting at 2 turns out on the idle needles. and not at 3/4 turn out.

Everything else should show up today or tomarrow.

Thanks

Well got some of the parts in today, all the Jets, still waiting on the venturi. Changed one jet at a time and starting the motor in-between rplacements and when I replaced the main jets and the air correction jet it did better. After changing all the jets it will still bog down from an idle but not as bad, and at 2500rpm when I floor it now it does not bog down. So it will be interesting to see what the 34mm venturi's will do, with the increased air flow it should eliminate the bog from an idle I hope.

Well, we shall see.
