Hi all,
Still trying to sort out my cold start, stalling problem. Got a hold of a Haynes Weber carb manual and it mentions the fast idle rod. Checked mine out and it's there but not much movement on it when pulling out manual choke full. I seem to recall some words of wisdom from somebody in the forum saying that I should bend the fast idle rod. It makes sense to me. If the author or anyone else remembers that suggestion could you respond again and tell me exactly how to bend that rod. It is not removeable so any adjustments have to be made in situ. Thanks in advance.......
