Web site of my complete BT7 restoration

Following the publishing of the hardtop restoration for my car, several people have asked me to post the link for my full restoration web site. The site includes a summary of all of the "personalizations" made to my car, a blog that provides a week-by-week description of the assembly of the "Bloody Beast" and a few other points of interest. I want to thank members of the healeys@autox list, the British Car Forum, several vendors and a few Healeyophiles who have become good friends for their help along the way. I will maintain the site, so if their are tips or suggestions that ought to be included to benefit others please let me know.

I should warn you it is big, full of high resolution images and therefore will not be a quick loader! It is definitely the "War and Peace" version of the restoration - particularly the weekly restoration blog - it is not an abridged version.

A link to the site is also available at John Sims' site.

I have a new religion and this shall be my Bible. The pictures will save those of us who purchased their cars dis-assembled. Great site!!!

Hi Lin,
My hats off to you, very nicely designed site. I like your table of contents, broken down by catagory. Hope building the site didn't take as long as restoring the car. :jester:

Thanks, guys! Yes, Greg the site itself was easy to develop, but the discipline to keep it up-to-date was a challenge sometimes. I got so much help from this
Forum, the healey list and from the Healey faithfull that I just wanted to return the favor for those amateurs like myself who wanted to give restoration a try.

After my wife and bank account get over this one, I would like to try a concourse restoration, but I would have to start with a better car than mine was initially!

Greg, BTW, how is that motor running? I love the look of those mikunis (sp?)

It's been awhile since the motor was turned over. When it ran though, it were niiice. Still need to build a choke circuit. Otherwise the idle is set too high once the engine warms up. That and fine-tune the accelerator pumps.
