Wow! Snow this early? Yikes!

I still have two races left this season.
My leaves are starting to turn (and fall off...raking begins soon).
We'll get some good snow mostly in Jan-Feb-March. Our lake usually freezes in Feb....and skating / ice fishing commences.
My younger daughter and her husband live only about 200 miles south of me (in Delmarva / Maryland) and they get vitually no snow in the Winter. As I get older, that sounds better and better to me.

turned out it was just a flurry but it is staying on the ground

SNOW? YIKES! Besides, if it's only a little bit and they don't salt the roads, Bs are great fun in the snow! Emma doesn't get put away. Doubt Binabox will either! I'll drive Emma year round unless there's salt/chemicals on the road! Our Polar Bear Run in February (top down) was actually snowed out - but not before we had a good time doing donuts in the parking lot!!!

We got the same thing here today, Nial. I drove through about 10 miles of a raging snow squall at about 0600 this morning. There's still a little bit on the ground.
Gee, I threw my first snowball of the season on Columbus Day this year. Seems way too early to me.

No white stuff here yet, but it sure feels like it could.
If you wanna keep a car in one piece around here, It's gotta get put up for salt season. Sometimes you can push it into the end of Dec. But once the roads turn white (with salt) they stay that way till the end of March. and It makes me cringe to see the salt "growing" on the cars. All the edges and bits under the cars turn crusty white, and it creeps into all the tiny little cracks and just "eats" away FOREVER!!!!
anything over 5 years old here has NO chance of anything ever coming apart in one piece again. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

banjo, great discription for those folks what never see dat "salt" ruination accuring! luckily i live surrounded by reservoirs the drinkin water type so i dont see salt like i did as a kid growin up in brooklyn, hay maybee you should be a writer or samthin! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Got some here today too....Weird day...I was at my office downtown, got a few flurries but nothing major...Came home and saw my wifes car(61 MGA) covered slush...Apparently she was out shopping and got caught in some whiteout conditions, on the plus side the wipers, lights, and heater all work well....I doubt there was any salt down when she was out, but it still hurts to see a classic all slushed up.

r6mgs.pretty mga, pretty blond, sluggin there way through a snow storm and making it home o.k. i can see it all now! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif
