We need to look at a bugeye that's together

We are reaching a point where we really need to look at a correct car in real life. I have been saving photos off eBay, and think we have all the books, but there are a few things (drivers side seat rails, under dash bracket, other misc brackets and dash plugs) that have us scratching our collective heads. Does anyone live anywhere near Nevada City and would be willing to let us have a look? Even Sacramento to Reno would not be too far.
Thanks, Brian & the ladies www.teamsprite.com

Hmm, two under dash brackets go from rear bottom lip of dash to the lip on the firewall, should be a small hole both places.

Afraid I don't know what a dash plug is.

Drivers side seat rails are very well presented in the Moss catalog.

Sorry Jack, I meant firewall plugs. The moss illustrations are clear if you know what you’re looking at. The more I stared at that page the more it looked like some kind of Escher print. Look at the two runners (both, though they look different in the illustration, with the same part number) you can’t really tell if the lip turns in or out. I have the identical piece, same number of seat-stop holes etc, but it turns out, like a hooked ā€˜Z’. I believe both are supposed to turn back in on themselves. The hole spacing (across) is 13 3/8, the seat runners that came in the box (note: ā€œin the boxā€) would require the holes to be considerably further apart.
Maybe, just for fun, we should put up a ā€œwhat the heck is thisā€ page on the Team Sprite website, offer a CD from the world famous bluegrass/traditional/whineless country/folk band (drum roll here please) The Fiddlesticks for anyone who gets all the answers. The band, by the way, was our last project before we started Team Sprite. (www.the-fiddlesticks.com)

Both seat runners under the drivers seat are the same for example the holes go toward the outside of the seat. The lip turns in toward the center of the seat. I don't know about the spaceing you are talking about. Make em fit what you got. As long as they work all is good. I suspose they made the runners so thy would fit lots of things.

Man if you guys are putting seats in you must have run the engine. Hows it go.
