Did anyone make it to the show last Saturday? Any photos? I was planning on going but came down with the flu on Friday.
 
It was a great show, the rain held off til after the Judging. Tons of MGs, including an original MG V/8 (with the Rover 3500). I left before the winners were announced, and I think Webb Sledge took some photos (Webb, please post them!!).

But overall, a great show. I'll leave a detailed description to others.
 
I took a bunch of photos, and they will probably get back tomorrow or Thursday. I'll be sure and post them as soon as I can.

Like Mark said, the show was great, and so was the reception and banquet afterwards. I don't recall the name of the guy who won best in show, but he had a BRG Jag XK120, which I believe I got a picture of. One of my favorites was a rare MG C. The fellow who owned it demonstrated that he could set a champagne glass half full of water on the engine without it falling off, and then he cut the engine off and it still did not fall. It was running very well.

Heh, I wish I had known about the show. I picked up a TR7 in Afton the week before that, I would have made my trip a week later if I had known. Afton is right next door to there. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
Does anyone know where I can upload about 35 pictures? I will probably narrow it down later, but I only know one one photo upload site (photobucket) which will only let me upload 20 photos.
 
Fantastic. Here are the 20 I have done tonight, and I'll get the other 20 tomorrow. If anyone would like a larger picture, I have up to 1280x1024. You'll notice not all of these are British cars. Some of the pictures were taken over in the "Some Other Marquee" section, such as the Lamborghini Miura. Also the one of the Mitsubishi 3000GT is Joe Hash's car, which I took the day of the shoot and thought I'd post it because it turned out nice.

webb, something's not right with the yahoo link. it doesn't go to the album.....
 
try it now. i updated it and one of those two links should work. If they don't I give up. I've been screwing around with it for the last half hour and nothing I do will work.
