What in the heck is going on down there, Dale?

Is that thing exorcised or not?

More importantly, is Dave still alive, or did it viciously strike him again? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Did they make it out of the caves? It's definatly big enough to get lost in there.

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Paul and Ben, et al:
We have been keeping a low profile until we knew all was well.
It's Monday morning and we have managed to get the dist. changed over to points. Viola!! It is running.
We got the timing set and adjusted the idle speed. We filled Amos with the high priced spread (premium gas). After
that it was on the freeway and a good run. 32 miles covered without a hint of breakdown.

Perhaps a good Omen, we turned 100 miles driven without a break down on top of this beautiful bridge.

Life is good in PR
Thanks for all the help

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

I've been there!!!
Yahoo!! that's great news! Way to go Dale and Dave!

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Dave and I took the womenfolk to the beach for
greasy, tasty lunch food and beach walking. We found
crabs and many small snails. Rough, windy water today.
Terribly cold water at 80* F but the Canada folks jumped
right in. Dave brought his hockey skate but he fell thru
into the water. They are looney? These canada people?

Now it's install new plugs gapped to .032 in Amos,
another spin while the girls are mall ratting and
buying David broke.

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

I notice Dave is holding a Candian Tire bag. Just be careful when he starts passing off Canadian Tire money. On the other hand...... I won't go there.

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Adrio

SSSHHHHH!!!
These guys don't even know what Canadian Tire money is.
Man you should see all the neat stuff I got today.
Besides, how do you think I'm paying for this excursion.

Try it, see how well it works.
Hey, no homeland security can listen to this, can they?

Dave

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Dave bought beach lunch so I guess he used his Canada
Tire money. I just wish I had paid DPO Pedro with Canada
Tire money!!!

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

So glad to see Amos moving under its own power!!!!

ENJOY IT!

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

I dunno. That picture shows a lot a black underneath Amos. Photoshopped to cover up the feet they use to make it go forward? or am I being a cynic again. Anyway, looks promising and a sad (Tinster/Amos?Crypty-less)future lies ahead of us.

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Where do I get some of this "Canadian Tire Money"? I was stupid and used plastic and green stuff for the entire trip!

Dave, looks like fun. wish I was there. I think we should start a BCF colony in PR. waddya say? Course the Hockey would stink.
We could all take our LBC down and circle Pedros house like a rouge biker gang. hehehehe

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Ben

Sounds like a plan to me. LBC's circling the Pedro ranch.
There is a couple of houses for sale in the Monte Clara area, so we could all live close by.
Now about this hockey ice thing. Did you know that at a cetain temperature, ice becomes water? Boy, color me embarassed. And now my good skates are all wet. This ain't gonna look good on a resume.

When I get home, I'll start collecting CTC money so we can come down again.

Dave and Annie (enjoying PR)

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Hey mister Beach Man,

Query, are you going to open the plugs up to .032 with stock point setup? Or did you get the Pertronix revived?

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

H-o-l-y T-o-l-e-d-o! Amos turned 100 miles without a
breakdown.

Quick, Dale, run out, obtain a perfect calf and prepare
to offer it to the Gods.

Dang. I can't even believe it. Don't know if you read
the post I made about what to do next. I told you
I'll get into contact with Pedro to get you a
Hog-wire....(Jaguar) so you'll have something more to
work with. Hmmm. Jaguar....black...probably evil enough.

Have fun and enjoy Amos. Congratulations!

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

David and Dale out scooting around in Amos while the
womenfolk were tyring to get themselves awake.

David driving and we're on ther highway by the funeral
home and David is in 3rd gear and punches it up to redline
as we roar past. It felt really good.

Amos seems to be a fast little red buggy and starts right
on first crank. Ben- the idle screws are back at your
setting 1,100 rpm. I'll drop it back to 900 or so.
Amos is purring at stop lights; growls like tiger after
prey in takeoffs.

We are all going to the Old City for lunch.
Photos at 6:00

Dale and Dave and the four girls.

PS: Dave could not seem to find any evidence of
DPO Pedro or Crypty. Huuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm??

Could it be?? The DPO Pedro curse have moved over to
Julian??

later gators,

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Poor Julian.....

Or poor us???

I hope there's not another exorcism coming up.

Re: Way to quiet in Puerto Rico

Yesssssssss!!!! that's all I gotta say. I can't wait till I get down there again. Cruisin in Amos has gotta be a hoot.
My ride was far too short. (coulden't be helped)but he seemed like he was tryin to break out on that short run. I can just imagine openin it up on the highway.
Dave, we like to say that here in N.Y. we have 11 months of winter, and one month of bad skiing.
But I think you hold more title to that.
I've heard rumor that ice gets soft down south, so it IS true Eh? how do they go ice racing?
