Waxoyl or POR15 in rockers?

Just blew out lots of trash from inside my rockers on the Midget. I hosed them out a year or so ago and thought they were clean. I was surprised at how much rust flakes, sand and trash came out. Should I try to POR15 or waxoyl? Waxoyl seems to run too much. POR will be hard to get in there. I'm disappointed as I'm seeing signs of bubbling on the car. Lots of humidity here and storage isn't as dry as I'd like it. I guess this is just an exersize in futility for me. Seem me, my wife and the car are decaying before my eyes.

I have a product that I got from Krown rust control - just sprayed it in very very generously
 
For the rockers on my Sprite, I borrowed an undercoat spray gun from a friend. It had a long extension wand with spray holes all the way around the tip instead of straight out. I first treated it with naval jelly then rinsed then sprayed with Rustoleum rusty metal primer. That circular spray tip was the magic part though.
 
JP, is it waxy and oily. What's it feel like. Taste like chicken?
 
If it were clean, new metal I'd say POR15 and then inject Waxoyl or similar.... I'd suggext you not POR over rust, despite what the amkers say, since you cannot be sure of completely sealing over all of it in an enclosed space....

Waxoyl is a wonderful product. The secret to using it is getting it nice and hot. I always placed the large can of Waxoyl in an even larger pot of water, a double boiler if you will, and set it on an outdoor burner (crawfish burner). When it totally liquified, use an air-powered sprayer, like the one from Eastwood. Lay it on thick, to the point of dripping. Over time, it will dry and thin out to where you won't really notice it. A great rust inhibitor and preventative. And, you really don't have to get down to bare metal or anything.
