Has anyone ever seen these seat covers for mgbs? They are on e bay for 90.00 and the shipping is only 30.00. They come from a brit company called mgbreakers and they claim it is a Good quality. Tis too good to be true????

The name MG Breakers might be of concern, as that's what they call junk yards over there in the UK. I'd do some more checking before committing my self to purchase. Maybe I'm just a little too cautious. PJ

For what is worth, I bought a set of minilite style wheels from mgbreakers about 5 years ago and they were very easy to deal with. They seemed to be honest and knowledgeable. The wheels so far have been great on my Sprite. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. However, that does seem cheap. Is that in US $ or pounds?

I have seen the covers on Ebay. The narrative basically says why pay more when you can get Chinese made for cheap. Looking at them the only thing I noticed is that the vinyl is not the original (at least for a 1977MGB I believe called Houndstooth), and the stitching or welding is pretty basic and only in one wrong direction, front to back with no side to side. It would depend on what the goal is, seat covers, or original (I bought some slide over seat covers for now until I can afford to get replacements).
