Waterless Coolant

I have just converted my BJ8 to Evans waterless coolant. It's expensive stuff but it was time to use anti freeze anyway so that offset the cost a bit. Does anyone on here have any long term experience of this stuff. The manufacturers claims look good and it certainly appears to run about 10 degrees cooler.

boiling point of 180 degrees.

That's 356 degrees F for we colonials. :patriot:

Here's my question with Evans. At some point, a high operating temp. will damage the engine. With regular coolant, boil over should alert the operator before severe damage is done. If Evans prevents boil over, is there any fail safe (other than keeping an eye on the temp gauge which is going to max out at 230 anyway) to prevent engine damage? I've read damage can occur around 250 degrees, so how much of a cushion does Evans give?

One would need an idiot light.
