Water Coming Out of Exhaust at Start-up

I have owned my 1956, BN2 for 5 years but don't ever remember water spitting out of exhaust at start-up in the morning and for few minutes after then seems to be dry. When it set for a week it looked like a tablespoon of clear water with no smell or taste. No white smoke anytime but still wonder if I have a cracked case or something else wrong. A couple of those starts were humid days but not all. I am hoping for condensation collecting over night but I maybe dreaming. Any ideas? Thanks Marty

One of the byproducts of combustion is H2O. If you've only driven a short period and the exhaust system has not reached full operating temperature for a period of time, the water vapor from combustion will not fully evaporate and remain in the muffler until being pushed out on the following start-up. Some mufflers have small drain holes to prevent water sitting in the muffler. I usually drill my own in the lowest part of the muffler,front and rear. Hope this helps
