so far seen an etype sunbeam alpine tr4 and I think dkw a couple of loti - Oh and I think there is a plot too.

I think they made a mistake with the E-Type. The show is set in 1963, I think, and the E-Type had no headlight covers. I think the covers came off in '68. True?

Some friends of mine were asked to provide cars for the filming. I don't think there's an overly-expert person on the production staff for car details. But then I don't think the average viewer says more than "wow - what old cars!".

The series is fun - lots of period detail and ideas. On the serious side, really interesting (and sad) to watch how women and ethnic groups are treated, to show the cultural climate of the time.

A friend of mine said the show is totally bogus, because they show a guy named Sanjit as a Pan-Am navigator: "They'd never have non-white people in the cockpit back then." Well, surprise. Pan-Am was a lot more liberal than many other organizations of the time.

Favorite scene so far: a French woman who was imprisoned by the SS during the war, sings Das Lied der Deutschen (German national "anthem") inside the US embassy in Berlin. A sign of her despair turning to triumph.
