Yeah, I know....we all use our cell phone to keep time these days.

But I still wear a watch most of the time. Mine's a Seiko Titanium (below). I've had it several years. Before that, an ancient Timex (analog). I have a Timex digital GPS too, but I never use it.

What kind of watches do you guys have?

(or have you switched to the cell phone time-keeper)

I quit wearing my Mickey Mouse watch years ago.

Strangely, I've been thinking lately of pulling it out of retirement.

Mickey, I also have an old Seiko just like the one above, but haven't worn a watch for about 20 years or so. It's at the bottom of a drawer somewhere, dead probably.

Clocks are everywhere, plus on my cell phone (which, for all intents & purposes is surgically attached to me). My cars have clocks (except my LBC, which is timeless); motorcycle has a clock; my house is fulla clocks.

Who needs a watch? A friend of mine wears a $7,000-ish Rolex, IMHO he looks like a "Ho" with it on.

No watch for me, at my age I don't need a constant reminder of how quickly time passes . . . :cryin:

One of the reasons I retired mine. But I don't bring the cell phone into the church, and I'm always having to ask others what time it is at the back of the church, so we can start the service on time.

Besides,

I have never had a watch off my wrist since 1970. Bath, sleep, sex, everything with one on. I am a slave to time.

Now wear a Swiss Army. Bought a Rolex in 1970, wore it 25 years till I retired it. Paid $270.00 brand new, gold and stainless. Way, way overpriced now.

What time is it???

I had a very nice Seiko digital for many, many years until both the band and watch itself finally gave out. Now it's strictly $9.00 Walmart watches: just as accurate and just as many features as my old Seiko; just not as durable. But at the price....

I have several FOLEX watched from Afghanistan..(cheap)..plus a few pocket watches, love them, as wrist watches get in the way with work...

My last real wristwatch was a nice Citzen diver's watch that I wore in college -- until I took it off one day to play pool and left it there (never to be seen again). Don't like to wear one when I play my instruments, either, so it was always in danger of being lost.

Switched to mechanical pocket watches for a while (still have them all, they're just cool). Been years since I carried one, though. Always have the phone so that covers the time need.

I don't miss having a watch on.

'bout 20 years since I had a watch. I hated how they felt on my arm. When pagers started keeping time, I was mildly excited.

We do? I missed the memo!

I have an old Casio analog watch (looks expensive, it isn't) that I haven't worn in years. My two daily watches are a Citizen Skyhawk, and a Citizen Skyhawk Blue Angels

I hate fiddling with my phone just to tell the time.

Plus, I've had networks screw up the time on my phone. (Which is a real pain to find out when your alarm doesn't go off and you're on a tight schedule.)

I have a cheap Casio analog/digital. Analog is a must for time but I like digital for date, stopwatch, time zones, alarm...

I'm really hard on watches so I stick with cheap ones for day-in-day-out use.

But maybe, just maybe, when I pick up that Aston Martin I'll get an Omega Seamaster to wear for an evening out.

Hey, good idea. But first I need a new battery, and a new chain for mine.

Have a nice Timex analog with stopwatch/ tachymeter function (Fun for lap times/speed at the track) but I hardly wear it for the same reason I don't wear my wedding ring very often. Metallic jewelry is not good when working on cars and electricity. I bought a cheap wall clock for my bay at work. I'd like to be able to wear both more often.

I have a Citizen that I wear for work,& a Seiko (both were-
given to me for years of service at work).
I also have an Accutron that i inhereted from my Father, but
can't find anyone to replace the battery.

Same here. In fact, I GAVE him that watch years ago for a birthday present, and he wore it for the longest time. Back then, Accutron was still part of Bulova.

Couldn't find anyone who'd touch it. Not even sure I still have it.

I've got one from China and it keeps better time than my buddy's real one. It's not electric either but a copy of the real mechanism. I use the cell phone. I'm left handed and the winder thing digs into my wrist too much. It fools everyone who sees it. I can't see having more in a watch than in my car.

I stopped wearing a watch about 1987 or so.

I have a cell phone, but I don't carry it with me...it usually stays in the truck.

I'm usually within 10 minutes (+/-) when someone asks me what time it is.

(BTW - it's currently 6:22pm CDT)

If it is daylight it is probably time to get up for the day.
If I am hungry it is time to eat.
If the neighbors are out it is time to wonder over and talk for a while.
If it starts to rain it is time to go in.
If I feel tired it is time for a nap.
Etc.
A watch never seemed to get those things right so I quit wearing one many years ago.
