They'll go to extremes for promotion...

Wonder what FourBucks will counter with.

About 3 years ago Dunkin Donuts ran a promo in Boston.
They fastened coffee cups (regular size) to the roofs of the taxi cabs to make it look as if the driver placed it on the roof while getting into the cab and just forgot it.
The promo ended quickly.... many drivers were honking and speeding up trying to alert the cab driver to tell him about the errant cup on his roof. It was stopped since it was causing dangerous driving.
It did catch peoples attention though!

The real question... Does FourBucks have enough these days?

That Dunkin Donuts promo sounds so funny, I could almost predict that result the minute you described it...

This reminded me of the episode of Leave It To Beaver where he gets stuck in a giant coffee cup on a billboard. I tried to find a pic wih no success.... :frown:

LOL that was one of my favorite episodes. It reminds me so much of my boys...Wally who was having his first "boy/girl" party had his evening ruined by his younger brother who go stuck in a coffee cup! That is a summary of the way things tend to go around our house.

'Round here I'd call that a "medium".

I remember the Dunkin' coffee cup on taxi roof promotion. I actually tried to pull one off a parked cab, to the amusement of the driver.
