"WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

Good Morn`n Folks,

As you are all aware; Its getting real close for the `57 TR3 to be delv.

Over the yrs. I`ve saved a ton of books for all marques I`ve owned. 2yrs ago; I sold them all (Not too bright).

So; Here I am; Looking to buy a "Restoration Guide" geared towards the TR3 & also a "Shop Manual". The cond. of these books is un-important but should be complete.

The Restoration Guide to show a lot of pics (Keeping in mind, Mine is a Small Mouth).

Please feel free to email directly or PM me with what you may have available.

Thanx in Advance,

Russ

Re: "WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

Russ - don't even think of restoring a side screen car without having TRA's restoration guide beside you. Available free at TRA's website.

Re: "WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

Howdy Folks,

"DNK": "Thanx" for the offer but I prefer a Hard/Soft cover book:

"Lou & Don": "Thanx" for the info. "Lou"; Your 110% correct. I would`nt even begin the Restoration process without having a guide; Thats why I`m asking if anyone here has a book For Sale.

"Thanx Again",

Russ

Re: "WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

Geez Russ. It's free. Sent it to you anyway. Ask anyone who has it on the computer. It's very valuable as a work tool to be able to be in the house sometimes. Easy to copy and sent pages too..

Re: "WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

Where is a good place to obtain the shop manual on CD? I've seen it on eBay but seems a little pricy for a CD... Thanks, Tim

Re: "WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

If you want it I'll send you the Bentley book and you can burn it to CD.
Why buy it?

"Thanx Again",

Re: "WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

Howdy Folks,

As it turns out; I was speaking with my Body Shop Guy & He has all the lit. available for viewing. He personally has restored (Body Off) His `67TR4A-IRS (Orig. Owner).

"Thanx Gents" for all the info.

Regards, Russ

Re: "WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

Russ,

Who is doing your body work for you? My in-laws lived in Spartanburg for a lot of years before moving back to Virginia.

Re: "WANTED": TR3 Restoration & Shop Manuals:

Howdy Scott,

A gent by the name of "Michael Goldsmith" who lives in the Pumpkintown/Table Rock area off RT.11. He`s actually more of a "Restoration" shop vs. "Body Shop".

He`s really going to enjoy working on my TR3 cause He has`nt seen an LBC in the shop in "100yrs" or so besides his own!

So; Let the Restoration begin.

Today; I`m "Investing" in a case of "BP Blaster" and give the TR a bath in it. Mike will be coming by later to assess the "Damage" and then We begin.

Sounds like a lot of Fun to me,

Regards, Russ
