Wanna buy a NEW Datsun?

I just figured they were the same thing (and merely devolved to the core company name back in about 1980).

From the Datsun forums, these will be
"bare-bones" cars - don't expect a "new" 510/240Z.

Time will tell... after all, we now have these revivals: Fiat 500, the Mini Cooper, the Bug.... who knows?

a 510 tribute car would be neat.

Don't forget, there were Nissan's sold here in North America in the 1960's... In the United States they sold the Nissan Patrol 4x4 (1962 to 1969), not badged as a Datsun... And here in Canada there were very brief sales of the Nissan Cedric sedan and station wagon in the, and yes I've even seen a Cedric station wagon...

My crappy 2005 photo of the Cedric wagon, as crammed into a backyard here in Calgary... The car isn't there anymore, not sure where it is now, sure hope it didn't get scrapped! :hammer:

And I have personally seen two Patrol's...
