the mail man.

Only bolts not in are the 10 for the bonnet and the two for the dizzy clamp when it arrives. Never did find it.

Adjust timeing and carbs. Valves taken care of.

That is assuming I have oil pressure and such.

Anadizer called the other day and asked if I wanted the cockpit suround just anadized or did I want it polished out perfect first. What a question, I did have a letter inside that gave instructions. Nothing is too good for Miss Agatha, polish to perfection then anadize clear. Least they called to make sure exactly what I wanted. Seem like good folks.

Jack:

I can just see you running to the door each time the yorkie barks /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

since I know that I would be.

Jack, I know you have been fighting several problems, but now is the time to complete the project, so. With the BE it is really easy to simply pull the plugs and turn the engone til you get oil pressure. Don't mean to tell you somethng you might already know, but, it is the right way so start a fresh maotor. Hope everything is great.

Heh, have even primed the pump through the banjo fitting.

Hmmm, cold cranking, I have 40 lbs of oil pressure with plugs out. No telling what the rpm is, took three trys maybe 15 seconds each.

Does that sound right?

So Jack where is that mailman? We want to all hear the the mouse roared back to life today. Sounds like you might have cured your oil pressure problem. A real good sign at this point. Good luck getting it going again. Miss Agatha is tired of sitting in the garage.

Well, we know not to pay for Priority Mail to Jack anymore - it doesn't work!!

Heh - notice the Post Office doesn't call it "High Priority" mail... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Everything has a priority, supposedly if you pay more your mail gets higher priority - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't!! They sure wont make any guarantees!

Part came 30 min ago and is installed.

Got to leave right now to pickup granddaughter. Am ready to pull the starter.

Left here 9:00:03am on 13 Nov.....supposed to be at Jack's in 2 days...we know the results! Of course, the Post Office will say that's 2 days!!

Oh me, now at sons. Call on way home from wife to go here for dinner.

Wonder if Miss Agatha will start and run. I can see it is going to be a dark nite in the garage.

We'll all be waiting for news by morning.

Strange, kicked it over, no fire. Kicks puffs out the carbs. Must be 180 out. But I know the big side of the drive was up.

Anyway will turn the drive 180 in the morning and try again.

Hmmm, why don't I just change the plug wires around and test.
