Go back 25 years I was 26 then I stripped my car had it painted then life got in the way and never put it back together. Been working hard for the last year putting the little beast back together. We ended up doing a full restoration in the mean time. Well today we pulled out of the garage under power and went for a test drive round and round the block.

And a couple more times the other way. I can hardly wait to hunt down some Sprites. Hope to get all the paper work done in the next two weeks to get my plate sticker

Woohoo!

What a fabulous little car. So great to see it back on the road.

Will it overheat if the rear deck is closed all the way?

amazing - but I didn't see you. Congrats

Thanks Drew

Never tried to run it with the rear deck closed so not to sure if it will over heat. It came with the brackets and thats the way it was raced back in the 60's I have the history all the way back to 1961 just drafting email to all the previous owners which are still with us.

Cheers

Mark

That's stunning, Mark!! Well done.

Congrats! It must feel good to drive it again after all those years... Now just be careful when driving it so you don't get run over by a huge SUV

I know how small these cars are...

So what car is next on the list? It would be great to see that Riley Drophead around, didn't you say that one needed restoration, from some long ago conversation that I vaguely remember...

Not sure what will be next but I have to make up my mind very shortly. These three are in the top picks at the moment

Austin Healey 1955 BN1
Fiat Abarth 750 Berlina 1959
1950 Riley 2.5L Riley

Kind of thinking my other Abarth while I can still get parts

Cheers

Of course, the other Abarth... I wasn't paying enough attention...

Love it, Mark.
Double Bubble, Gonna Be Trouble.....look out Sprigets!

I know that I will get some grief for this, but a 100 is a lot of problems. I vote for the Alfa...maybe a Sprint?
Cheers,
D.
