This is the provisional calendar but not likely to change barring any unforseen circumstances.



Note that it includes Thompson! (in Connecticut)

The track was one of the first road racing circuits in the US (1951).

2014 will mark a return of road racing to Thompson in over 40 years.
 
Thompson event is a joint VRG and VSCCA event, apparently to christen the new pavement. Friend of mine saw this on the Thompson Raceway facebook page.

VSCCA and VRG will be the first official event on June 26-29 2014
 
Yes. VSCCA and VRG. A good thing, I'd say and really looking forward to it.

Note that we changed our New Hampshire event back to two days. For a variety of reasons, the vintage motorcycles will not be attending, so we will only need two days for our event in NH.
 
Good to see Thompson running again. I went to a vintage meet there in 1977 just when the idea of vintage racing was getting started. It was great. Cars that hadn't seen the light of day for years being dragged out to do battle once again. Cool stuff like a Bugatti Type 35, a HRG and a Lester MG that all had that original patina we go crazy for today. Very informal atmosphere with cars showing up on single axle trailers. Listen to me, I'm getting nostalgic about the "good old days" of racing that was designed to celebrate the good old days of racing.
