I have some footage from Sunday's qualifying and feature races that I have not processed and posted yet and will try to put up tomorrow but thought you guys might enjoy this one, a short segment from one of the Saturday sessions.

The panhard bar broke and the left rear tire was shredded and blew out--you can probably hear the bang which sounded like a gunshot to me--causing a quick spin. I put my feet in and stayed pretty much in place and on the track--luckily the guy in the Alfa right behind me made a good decision and missed me though I'll bet it stained his pants!

That will get your attention, for sure.

Michael - NICE save. The driver behind you did a find job not collecting you.

Saw it from the starter's stand...
(I was working start on Saturday)

The original call was for a rope tow and I knew that was wrong.
It's hard to intentionally spin a car that quickly.

Had a similar one at T7 Mid-O when rear L tire blew...SUPER fast spin.
Also at T9 Mid-O when hub flange snapped (rear L)...Spin w/ sparks
