Jack, yeah, one at home, one at the shop and one just in case. As Thomb mentioned some information is somewhat outdated, we're doing way more with Spridget race engines now than Vizard shows in his book. Whats great about Vizard's book is his testing of certian items which is very relevent today, also his basic instructions like "how to degree a cam" years ago, his explanation made more sense to me than any of the other engine books, he explain things very well. He also a great source on the differnet parts that were in the engines and different aftermarket parts, Sure some things have changed over the years, but for the most part, the best A-series engine book ever wriiten. MGB and other British car folks can only wish they had a book this good to help them. Also David goes into great detail about making horsepower and his general advice is timeless. He also did books for the Chevy guys, he now resides in NC and at times consults for the Nascar boys.
