TR6 Violent Shaking

I had my '75 TR6 out for a drive yesterday, and after 30 miles I experienced a violent shaking from the right rear when I was braking. I pulled over and took of the rear right wheel, but could not see any issues. Since then, I tried to replicate the shaking, but have been unsuccessful. Any idea what could be? I am hoping to take it to VTR this week.

I'm thinking bad shock, only on that wheel. Try bouncing the rear of the car, and watch to see if it comes up evenly or one side moves faster than the other.

how are your rear hubs? How are your trailing arm bushings?

You could do that as well. Just want to confirm that you are not getting play in your hub bearings.

rubber or brake shoe lining?
