Vinyl Seat Cover- To Glue or not to Glue

I'm in the middle of redoing the vinyl on my seats, and after test fitting the seat covers I was wondering if you guys that have done this before used adhesive or if you left them dry. I have new foam bottoms and new diaphragms, as well as new covers- both top and bottom. Should I use any heat? They don't seem to need a lot of stretching.

Thanks, I was wondering how original ones were done. I noticed that some on the internet say absolutely use adhesive, and others say no way. I noticed that the bottoms fit nice, but the tops won't set against the foam on the front. They kind of act like a drum streched over the foam which bows in, but the vinyl doesnt. I suppose it may lay flat over time when it streches a bit, I don't know. Anyone have any tips before I tackle this?
