Vintage Gymkhana Video

Hard to tell by the video, but I do not think the Bugeye was going fast enough to induce roll. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Beleve me it was. I was driveing back in 1964 in that second video and that was fast time of the day run. The little cars just do not seem to roll a lot. They seem to slide very controlable at the rear with the throtle.

And this reminds me I need to install my roll bar, just happen to have one that came with her. Guess I best clean it up first, always wanted one.

Wish they would show more of the TD. That video is a classic. Nice one. Is there a way to save those?

Supposedly, the upcoming media player from RealNetworks will be able to capture streaming video.

Try here:

I've used this before with some success for saving videos.

If you liked that TD footage, here is some more of my Dad at a gymkhana in the early '50s

As far as saving them, if you open an account with youtube (free), you can save them in your "favorites" file there! I don't know what the limit is, but I have many clips saved!!
