I know they are made to race but to put some of those cars on a track with other cars /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif

Those are some great pictures. Bruce, whats the point of having a great race car, if you aren't gonna get it on the track?

Great Pictures, and the cars are being used as they should..

One point of order, though. While I see a bunch of PVT cars, I don't see a single Vintage car - at least, not by British definition, and they are mostly British cars!

Lots of other non-Brit cars as well. The MG 1100 racer is the first I've ever seen, plus much other keen stuff. Taken at the '04 Zippo @ the Glen.

There's a woman who has become very active in my Sound Classics Driving Association group (we go out and drive in large packs during the winter/early spring) who has three MG1100s. I'm going to forward that picture to her, and she'll love it.

That MG100 belongs to a guy I know named Roger Garnett. He lives about 40 minutes from me (and the glen) and previously campaigned a bugeye sprite (and I'm sure a few things before that). He's a wealth of knowlage and is active in the Cayuga Sports Car Club. I'll have to E-mail him and let him know about this site and your like of his "rare racer" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I guess then someone who has a P51 Mustang should shoot other planes from the sky? That is what they were built to do.

I was simply saying I would hate to see them crash. I personally would have no problem driving some of them solo on a track- less odds of an accident. Just find it hard to see some of those cars battling it out with other cars so close. Not my car so I shouldn't care. Just a scary thought with all those wonderful and sometimes very rare cars having a chance of being destroyed.

Thanks for the MG1100 picture I forwarded it to my dad who had a one when we lived in Mobiel AL thirty some years ago - resulted in a great phone converstion.
