Hi all.

I'm new to this forum, but recognize some of the name of those posting from other forums.

I currently own 3 antique cars, a 1933 Chevrolet Master 5 Window Coupe, a 1962 Triumph TR4, and a 1984 BMW 633 CSi (AACA First Senior).

I bought the 1962 TR4 in 2008 specifically to restore to original BRG with Red interior colors. The only one I have ever seen in this color combination and some think it looks a bit funky, but I got used to it.

I got the body tub painted in Jun 13 and the attached photo was taken on 14 July 13

Welcome, Vila!

Your TR looks like it's going to be great. And I've always liked the BRG with red.

You'll find lots of help over on the TR side of the forum, so post away!

Hi There Vila,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best LBC site anywhere on any planet!!

Your TR is really looking great! I too like the "BRG & RED" combo.

I lived in "Effort, PA" 4yrs ago directly south of Pocono Raceway. Did alot of traveling (Bus.) all thru your area & have a friend who lives in Mechanicsburg.

Best Wishes with the Restoration,

Russ
PS: Are you "Bob Vila" by any chance? The guy who did the "Home Shows" on TV?

Yes my first name is Bob, but I'm not the real Bob Vila.

I flew in the USAF and PA Air National Guard for 32 years and all the other crew members called me Vila because I was restoring a house built in the 1870s.
