Fun!

Remind me what the name of this track is again?

I like the little "green-to-red" shift light you have. I'm just using a plain, red shift light (set at 5800).
Seems like your overdrive is still working OK. You can hear that it's not perfect, but still good enough to use.

I'm heading to Watkins Glen for a vintage event tomorrow.
This will be the last trip for my Ford tow van.
I bought a new, Chevrolet tow van yesterday.
The Ford will be brought to the car dealer next Tuesday and I'll get my new van.

This might be the last run for my Sprite for a while too....if I get my Austin ready for Spring '10. But I'm keeping the Sprite no matter what. It's still great fun to race.

Is this your last event for '09?

The track name is NĂĽrburgring GP track. It's the modern part of the Nordschleife.

The light has green, red, blue follow to indicate the max rev.
But I use a rev limiter to have more safety against overreving.

The OD indeed does slip from time to time. It will be looked at this winter. It came new in last spring and started slipping from the first race. Hope this is getting better.

Good luck for your race event. Hope you blow them down.

As a tow car I use a BMW X3. Not that big as US cars are but big enough to store the tools and stuff.

Cheers
Chris

Nice driving Christian. The car looks loose. Maybe try dialing in a little more understeer or softening the rear up. You might find that you'll be a little more confident through some sections, tenths add up to seconds  .

What type of shifter do you have mounted on your steering wheel?

So, he just switches into & out of OD but doesn't change gears?
