They say variety is the spice of life, right? Here's some spice for you. You won't find another TVR that looks like this one. Nifty!

Yeah, when I posted a photo of that car a while ago, we were trying to figure out where that grill came from.

I think the general concensus then was that it was a TR3 grill with the center section cut out (and then spliced back together). And then attached upside-down.

It's uhhhhhh......<span style="font-style: italic">different</span>. :wink:
 
Ugly is ugly no matter which way you turn it.

It's your behavior that's ugly Michael. So many nice things you could have said about the man's TVR, but you had to go negative. I've got about eighty photos of your MkIV. If I were to publish an article about it, I'm sure a lot of people might have negative impressions of its styling. Most of them would have the good taste and class to keep their mouths shut.

Have another look at the TVR. Even if you don't like the grille, it has many exceptionally nice unique details and the paint/body work is outstanding.

You're right--my remarks were uncalled for and I certainly should not have said on this forum what I would not have said to the owner's face. I apologize to you, the owner of the car and anyone else who I might have offended.

Actually it says that it is a TR3 grill in the article.
 
Certainly not an improvement over stock styling. Nicely built car though.
