VERY nice 78 midget for sale

Dear Lord! Is that what one in that condition is worth?

That car has some shine, the the paint prep was horrible. I would bet the bondo was smeared over the rust. Without inspection, I'd pay no more than $2000. ...but I'm a very skeptical person.

its shiny and i like the interior, but its not perfect...
ill be keeping my 74 RWA for now. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
just thought some of u RB owners would appreciate a look...z

Yes, much appreciated, thanks! Gives me a whole new respect for my all-original, 48,000-mile "Jewel."

Have you hugged your MG today?

Wow! it's even "Resale Red".
Emotional purchase - be cautious if you proceed.

Trevor is right, paint prep.
Overspray on the bonnet stays and firewall. Front wheel arches are not clean inside. 97000 miles. The bottom shows evidence of oil leaks. damage around seat mounting bolts, dented gas tank. Newly recovered seats and old carpeting. Obviously nicely shined up for pictures and a nice new floor mats, spare tire cover, though missing carpeting in left trunk.

Yeah yeah auction has ended, but the car is still for sale and that price is probably more than 3 times what it's worth.

But it does look good and I still think they drive very nicely.

May I suggest that for some right price that would be a fine place to start.

IMHO, Paint was really laid on heavy, recent buffing for shine. Front drivers fender was kinked, banged and bondoed. Door hinges are bad or it could be sill rot (shhh).

I agree with Trevor, probably a rust paint over.

Look at the wheel rims, some one really did a job on them.

Think I might give 1200 if I was needing one.

I noticed that as well. And look at the bumpers! All of the Mothers Back to Black in the world CANNOT cover a gouge...let alone a baker's dozen!

What seats are those?
They look good.

It's getting close to 6k.
That is one very nice car, sure it's shined up and lipstick applied, but that's a head turner from any distance.
Drive that into your local car show, you'll get some attention...
I noticed the seats and headrests too Carl, they are kinda nice.
It's nicer than mine, so I can't diss it.

Those look like the "Suffolk" seats that VB sells.
