Went by the big ACE place in the next town. Found every fastner for a Bugeye in steel or Stainless. Lots of good stuff.

Wife was at a lunchon and won the door prize. An angle grinder. hehe.

What a day. Will she let you use her new prize? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So Jack, why isn't that list of all Bugeye fasteners in the knowledge base yet? That needs to be kept for all of us to look at.

Mostly cause I found it so easy. Just go to ace and get a few boxes of this and that.

1/4 X 28 SS Various lengths 1", 1 1/4, 1 1/2 Both Hex Head and Pan head.

8-32 and 10-32 pan head SS in various lengths.

Various SS sheet metal screws 1/2", 3/4"

Posted yesterday someplace on size of the cockpit suround slightly convex alum bolts.

Ok that takes care of just about all of it don't forget the washers and lock washers.

Keep in mind that all of this is SAE fine thread.

Guess I have $40 invested and got a nice big plastic container box thing I can take to the car with me.

Stoped by the Base tire center and priced Cooper 155/60 13 tires, about 40 bucks each.

Jack, go over to the MGB Forum & loo at what's in Rickey's paint booth tonight!
