Wedge Very interesting read.. RE: TR7

Nice reading. The third picture sure looks like a Porsche 914.

The "shark nosed" MG would have been interesting. Not at all similar in any way to an MGB.

That was a pretty interesting article. I agree that the Triumph Bullit concept did look like a 914. I also liked the ADO21 concept alot better than either the Triumph concept or the TR7.

Thanks Klutz, did not enjoy reading about the demise of the English car industry, but my father-in-law back in the mid '70's told me the union demands would take the car industry down. He was right on alot of things, but it could have been a case of management's determination to brake the union and now all of them are out of a job. Strange. Wayne

Actually, this entire site is extrodanary. Keep reading. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

That site loks an awful lot like Mike Cooks new book, Triumph Cars in America.

The site is something of a labour of love over several years by Keith Adams. It's probably a pretty good advert for his skills, as he's just thrown in a 'proper' job to become a motoring journalist and is now news editor of 'Classic Cars Weekly' magazine here in the UK.

Yeah, I had come across that a while ago and found it an interesting read. The concept pictures are always entertaining to me, as it seems to others as well.

I have a bunch of old magazine articles that came with my Lotus -- I'll have to scan them for y'all to read. Interesting stuff for the most part.
