Re: Very bizarre "custom" vehicles on E-Bay,

That is certainly "interesting". I always what inspires people to build stuff like this.

Try not to think about it; that way lies madness.

It's missing the sign that says "If this van's a-rockin'...."

Re: Very bizarre "custom" vehicles on E-Bay,

Actually got an e-mail from the E-Bay vendor this morning, caught redhanded... actually he was quite pleased that I even posted this thread anyway

How about this for another interesting creation from the same guy?

And yet another one can one can be found at www.traderconnection.com , look under "specials" for the 1970's VW Beetle with a 1960's Mercedes-Benz SEL front-end. I can't link a picture from this site so you'll have to take a look yourself.

Oh yeah... same guy has a nice original (untouched, amazing!) Volvo P1800ES wagon on E-Bay right now as well.

That would be perfect to go with the aircraft carrier!

Re: Very bizarre "custom" vehicles on E-Bay,

I have to ask ... WHY? What propels someone to waste all that talent and MONEY on creations like these? I love weird... but George Barris and Big Daddy Roth wouldn't even make such bazarre items. I guess this guy has a lot of time, money, and talent to waste. Someone out there in never never land will think these are "cute" and want one. I hope it isn't anyone I know. Oh, well????????
Maybe he will make a Jag/MG/Austin/Bristol/Mini/Aston/with a Rolls rear cabin and 12axles next...
