Hi all,

After a four year AWOL, I'm back as a LBC owner. Two weeks ago, I drove out to Central OHIO and picked up my uncle's 79 B. All in all she's in pretty good shape, with only one small rust bubble on the driver's side quarter panel. Unfortunately the catalytic converter has been removed, which means I'm going to have one heck of a time getting it SMOG'ed (southern NV is very strict for SMOG). My wife's going to take it down tomorrow and find a SMOG station with the youngest kid she can find running the machine... Maybe we'll luck out.

Previous LBC's were a '65 1600 MGA (I think it was a '65.. Too many years ago!) a Mini Cooper S, a 77 Midget, a bugeye, a TR3 and once upon a time, a Sunbeam& Alpine, was in there someplace... I'm 67 years old and can honestly say, "I've never owned an American Automobile !"

i hope to be around a lot just reading and learning... Adding my 2 cents only when I think it's worth a nickel.

I'll do my best to learn the rules before I open my mouth.
