Valve to rocker clearance per the manual is 0.012 in (0.30 mm) done cold.

From the manual:
It is important that the clearance is set when the tappet of the valve being adjusted is on the heel of the cam, (ie opposite the peak) This can be effected by carrying out the adjustments in the following order (which also avoids turning the crankshaft more than necessary). Valves are numbered 1 to 8 from the front of the engine.
Valve fully open: / Check and adjust:
8 / 1
6 / 3
4 / 5
7 / 2
1 / 8
3 / 6
5 / 4
2 / 7

I hope this helps you.
