T-Series Value of MGTC... need help

I have a line on a completely restored MGTC and the seller is playing the "he who speaks first is sunk game". What is a ballpark range to offer for a showroom MGTC that was meticulously restored by a perfectionist. I don't want to come in ridiculously low and lose the shot at it or way over what the guy will take. Being able to have the collective knowledge of this board will get me in the right arena. If it's a concourse car, you can expect to pay around $40K. A profesionally restored driver in perfect condition, complete with no dirt anywhere will fetch between $30K and $35K. A good driver that looks concourse from 15-feet but has been driven a bit will go for $25K or so. If you post photos we can get a more accurate price. Good luck!
 
I agree with Steve. That seems to be about the going rate but a detailed inspection needs to be done. You gotta look in every nook & cranny of the car. You should get Clausager's book to make sure all parts are up to snuff.
