One of the members of our local British car group has passed away,
& his wife is going to sell his 1963 TR3 B.He bought it brand new,in Palo Alto,-
California,& it has it's original paint& has been maintained by a reputable shop.
I'm trying to help her out,& not getting anything out of this. She'd like to see
someone buy it who will keep it,& take really good care of it.
IF I had the money,& space,I'd grab it myself.

If she wants top dollar would be great Bring a Trailer car, though maybe market is big enough locally that it could be sold without all the fuss for a pretty good price.

Agree with glemon, a good candidate for BaT!

I don't know why,but it was always hard to sell
a sports car, street rod,or muscle car for top dollar
there (Humboldt County,CA.
I'll tell her about BaT,but the final decision is hers,
as it's her car & her money.

If you go the BaT route, be prepared to be on standby to quickly answer questions from the ā€˜peanut gallery’ who may or may not bid.

Nothing will sink your bids faster than non-responsive seller.

Also, they love start up and driving videos, so be prepared.

That looks like an exceptional car that should do very well.

As I learned from my own experience ... BaT will encourage you to list, but then may require it be sold without reserve. And as Kevin says, be prepared to take *lots* of photos and several videos.

There are folks who do a great job of providing the photos and writeup for use on BaT. Fee is worth the product.

Good to see you post! Didn't know you were on here.

The owner would really like to see it go to the right buyer -
someone who will keep it & care for it & drive it,not just flip it.

Price will vary a bit depending on whether it is a TSF or TCF car.
