Vacuum sealed parts

Would there be any advantage in vacuum sealing spare parts for storage? I have spare hoses and wheel cylinders that hopefully will not be needed for a few years and was wondering if using a kitchen frozen food sealer would have any effect on the natural degradation of rubber parts?

I'm no expert but I would suppose rubber parts would definetly benefit. I'd grease up the MC pretty good to prevent oxidation and place in bag.
