Vacuum Port

No. BN1/2s have a separate manifold for each carburettor. There is a 'balance pipe' connecting them; it would be possible to fit a barbed or threaded fitting.

So if I wanted to be able to fine tune the timing using a vacuum gauge I would need to tap a port where my finger points in the attached file ?

Yep. One well-respected Brit car mechanic was offering a PCV kit for BN1/2s, and he did just that (though the tap is on the bottom).
